Commitment to environmental education and society engagement
In order to highlight the importance of the connection between human beings and nature, it is necessary to offer information, promote experiences and expand communication to different points of contact and in different formats. Meet some of our initiatives!

FILM THE BEGINNING OF LIFE 2 – OUTSIDE
Launched on November 12, 2020, the film “The Beginning of Life 2: Outside” was conceived and produced by Maria Farinha Filmes in partnership with Grupo Boticário Foundation and Instituto Alana, under the direction of Renata Terra (director of Piripkura, a pre-nominated Oscar 2019 film as the best documentary), and released in 190 countries by Netflix.
The film is a new chapter in the franchise “The Beginning of Life” and puts a lens attentive to the benefits generated by contact with nature in the development of children.
It was released at a time when we are experiencing one of the greatest contemporary crises in our history.
The pandemic opened up all the inequalities that permeate our society and made the urgency of reflecting on our relationship with the natural world even more evident.
The content is an opportunity to reflect on our relationship with the world and with nature.

NATURE CONSERVATION SPECIALIST NETWORK (RECN)

They are lawyers, urban planners, biologists, engineers, environmentalists, scientists, university professors – of national and international reference – who volunteered to be spokespersons for nature.
They give interviews, bring new perspectives, generate content and enrich information from reports from the most diverse editorials. Created in 2014, the Network is an initiative of the Grupo Boticário Foundation for Nature Protection.
